Levente Szalontai started the match with the kick off. Vince Tóth's late challenge caught a Nyomár CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vince Tóth helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bátya TC's Vince Tóth got a free kick in the 8th minute. After 12 minutes of play, Bátya TC's Bánk Petres made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ákos Ábrahám was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Balla in the 16th minute of play forced Nyomár CF's goalkeeper Ákos Ábrahám to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miklós Koós hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Nyomár CF's goal looked a bit too open when Mátyás Rácz came free, but Ákos Ábrahám reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bánk Petres kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Mátyás Rácz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 34 played minutes Bátya TC got a freekick which was hit by Levente Szalontai. In the 36th match minute, Bátya TC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mátyás Rácz to maneuver through the defense. Ákos Ábrahám took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levente Szalontai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Nyomár CF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bátya TC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Endre Havass to strike the kick off in the second half. Ákos Ábrahám made an important save on a dangerous shot by Levente Szalontai in the 53rd minute. After 62 played minutes Bátya TC got a freekick which was hit by Emil Balla. An unexpectedly hard shot by Levente Szalontai in the 64th minute of play forced Nyomár CF's goalkeeper Ákos Ábrahám to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Levente Szalontai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ákos Ábrahám was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Nyomár CF's Zsolt Kaszás got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Levente Szalontai came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Bátya TC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Levente Szalontai couldn't finish the play. After having played for 81 minutes, Bánk Petres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bátya TC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bánk Petres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emil Balla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ákos Ábrahám having to interfere. The Nyomár CF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bátya TC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
