The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Domonkos Honti kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Henrik Vámosi. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Domonkos Honti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Henrik Vámosi made a huge save. Vasas FC's Domonkos Honti got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henrik Vámosi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miklós Benkó, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Sámuel Kárpáthy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olivér Bögi. Vasas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sámuel Kárpáthy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Sámuel Kárpáthy charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sámuel Kárpáthy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Domonkos Honti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henrik Vámosi having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Miklós Benkó took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Henrik Vámosi to make any attempt to save it. Domonkos Honti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Domonkos Honti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrik Vámosi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Molnár got free with Henrik Vámosi in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, Vasas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferenc Kovács came free, but Olivér Bögi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Antal Molnár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Vámosi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Siklósbodony's Henrik Vámosi got control of the ball when Domonkos Honti tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miklós Benkó was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Siklósbodony getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Medárd Huszti hit a great ball. Olivér Bögi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sámuel Kárpáthy, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute Miklós Benkó shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Vámosi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domonkos Honti in the 63rd minute of play forced Siklósbodony's goalkeeper Henrik Vámosi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Miklós Benkó made a precise shot to the right of Henrik Vámosi. Siklósbodony's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. A sloppy throw-in by Zsolt Kaiser in the 69th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Siklósbodony's Lóránt Boda. When Egon Kaszás fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Siklósbodony's protests and gave Egon Kaszás a yellow card for diving instead. Egon Kaszás kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Domonkos Honti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Siklósbodony! Henrik Vámosi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domonkos Honti, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Kálmán Szigeti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dávid Nagy made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Siklósbodony's Endre Szalai. After having played for 88 minutes, Endre Szalai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Siklósbodony's supporters crossed their fingers, but Endre Szalai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Tamás Cseh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Siklósbodony defense, Zsolt Kaiser kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrik Vámosi. The Siklósbodony fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrik Vámosi should have stopped the shot. Vasas FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
