In the 17th minute Viktor Kecskés shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Vámosi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Endre Szalai charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferenc Kovács in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fábián Hujber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute, István Görög hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fábián Hujber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sámuel Kárpáthy, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 48th minute of the match Medárd Huszti shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fábián Hujber showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When Sámuel Kárpáthy came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Siklósbodony fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sámuel Kárpáthy couldn't finish the play. Sámuel Kárpáthy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fábián Hujber came out and tried to block the shot, but Sámuel Kárpáthy slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 53rd minute. István Görög was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. But to his dismay, Soma Mészáros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 83 played minutes Siklósbodony got a freekick which was hit by Tamás Cseh. In the 85th minute, Sámuel Kárpáthy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 89 minutes, Lóránt Boda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Siklósbodony and the Fekete Sasok players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match was over Siklósbodony could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fekete Sasok throughout the match.
