The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Kálmán Makkai made the kick off in the second half. Máté Angyal might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over János Szepesi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Máté Angyal ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in HuNBus-Csepel FC's zone, Imre Kollár stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Károly Szusza came out of the goal and Imre Kollár tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Imre Kollár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bánk Petres took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Károly Szusza. Károly Szusza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. János Szepesi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kálmán Makkai in the 72nd minute of play. After 72 played minutes Bátya TC got a freekick which was hit by Levente Szalontai. Imre Kollár might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Károly Szusza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Imre Kollár ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute, Imre Kollár left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bátya TC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Károly Szusza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Imre Kollár in the 89th minute of the match. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind HuNBus-Csepel FC's goalkeeper Károly Szusza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bátya TC had played much better football throughout.
