The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Szabolcs Dobos during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Dénes Rácz came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dénes Rácz couldn't finish the play. Barnabás Temesvári received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Béla Pintér tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gergely Hollósi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márton Pető in the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of Hungary booed when Crescent City Intruders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnabás Temesvári didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute Márton Pető shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gergely Hollósi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márton Pető in the 26th minute of play forced Crescent City Intruders's goalkeeper Gergely Hollósi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gergely Hollósi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from János Szepes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Szabolcs Dobos hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Márton Pető struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Gergely Hollósi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Zsolt Veres made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hungary's Ákos Horváth. After 46 minutes of play, Hungary's János Szepes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gergely Hollósi was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Barnabás Temesvári made the kick off in the second half. Hungary's Dániel Tinódi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 55th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gergely Hollósi but with some difficulty. Gábor Fazekas kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Roland Fronczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Balázs Borbély fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Béla Pintér having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Crescent City Intruders's Rafael Bányay got a free kick in the 75th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Zsolt Veres in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Hungary's Ákos Horváth. Crescent City Intruders's Gergely Hollósi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by János Szepes in the 82nd minute of play. In the 89th minute, Szabolcs Dobos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 89 minutes, Márton Pető managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Márton Pető was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Miklós Herczegh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Crescent City Intruders throughout the match.
