Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Hungary's Pál Páncsics managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Szabolcs Dobos in the 60 minute of the game. Hungary's attentive Henrik Madaras managed to snatch the ball when Roland Fronczak made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 68th minute of the match Crescent City Intruders got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Szabolcs Dobos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pál Páncsics charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pál Páncsics the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pál Páncsics kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Gergely Hollósi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crescent City Intruders's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gergely Hollósi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Gergely Hollósi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Béla Pintér was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Gergely Dávid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márton Pető in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Crescent City Intruders had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
