Ferenc Kocsis hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute, Miklós Benkó got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Márton Pető had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Márton Pető's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olivér Bögi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Vasas FC booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. János Szepes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Miklós Benkó stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Béla Pintér came out of the goal and Miklós Benkó tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Béla Pintér made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Domonkos Honti sent off a good shot on target. Domonkos Honti succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 23rd playminute. With a little luck, Hungary's Béla Pintér got control of the ball when Domonkos Honti tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Antal Molnár cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Béla Pintér was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vasas FC's Olivér Bögi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by János Szepes in the 36th minute of play. Miklós Benkó received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Béla Pintér tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. János Kovács made in the 40th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Zsolt Kaiser however managed to control. Miklós Benkó sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domonkos Honti scored 3-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Béla Pintér, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Béla Pintér should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute of the game Dávid Nagy made a throw-in which Dániel Kurucz played forward. Hungary's Béla Pintér played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domonkos Honti in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miklós Benkó in the 71st minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Béla Pintér to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Vasas FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Gergely Károlyi hit a great ball. Márton Pető successfully managed to get himself past Vasas FC's defense and had a dream possibility and totally alone with Olivér Bögi everyone thought he would score, but the ball went just outside the top right corner. Márton Petős short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Olivér Bögi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. János Kovács made in the 77th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Domonkos Honti however managed to control. In the 83rd match minute, Vasas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antal Markos to maneuver through the defense. If Miklós Benkó had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vasas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Márton Pető scored to the left of an out of position Olivér Bögi, making the score, 4-1. In the 95th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márton Pető to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Zsolt Kaiser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vasas FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Hungary for a fine match.
