If Hugó Pataky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pátyod SI booed when Kárpátia Expressz FC. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ákos Szép didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kárpátia Expressz FC.'s Máté Gáspár proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Kárpátia Expressz FC. from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Kárpátia Expressz FC. getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ignác Pál hit a great ball. When Pátyod SI's Hugó Pataky in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kárpátia Expressz FC.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 15thth minute of the game István Szénási who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pátyod SI's Ákos Hajdú was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugó Pataky during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hugó Pataky hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Tibor György managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pátyod SI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tibor György was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tibor György had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kárpátia Expressz FC.'s István Szénási got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If István Szénási had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dávid Kolompár hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Dániel Kalmár took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ákos Hajdú. Pátyod SI's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by István Szénási in the 41st minute of play forced Pátyod SI's goalkeeper Ákos Hajdú to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when István Szénási stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tibor György recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when István Szénási got free with Ákos Hajdú in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hugó Pataky recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, Hugó Pataky left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pátyod SI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Tibor György received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Máté Gáspár tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kárpátia Expressz FC. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ignác Pál hit a great ball. Máté Gáspár showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibor György in the 83rd minute of the match. Hugó Pataky struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Máté Gáspár didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pátyod SI. After 95 played minutes Kárpátia Expressz FC. got a freekick which was hit by Ignác Pál. Pátyod SI's Tibor György managed to work through Kárpátia Expressz FC.'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Tibor György dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When the referee ended the match the Pátyod SI players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
