After 3 minutes, Renátó Gál mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kispest HFC and the WHITE SHARK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Renátó Gál kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, WHITE SHARK's goalkeeper Tivadar Szőnyi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renátó Gál. WHITE SHARK were furious when Ottó Kolozsvári was red carded, 7 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for WHITE SHARK! In the 9th minute, Csaba Győrfi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kispest HFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. WHITE SHARK's Tivadar Szőnyi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save WHITE SHARK from getting a goal against them. Géza Jakab might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over György Bodó. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Géza Jakab ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the match, Tamás Dénes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tivadar Szőnyi, 2-0. In the 25th minute Tamás Dénes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tivadar Szőnyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tivadar Szőnyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Tandori in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, WHITE SHARK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Géza Jakab to maneuver through the defense. Márton Sári recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Péter Grósz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without György Bodó having to interfere. A collision led to WHITE SHARK getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Barnabás Szalay hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Péter Grósz to make the kick off. Péter Grósz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but György Bodó read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After 54 minutes, Tamás Radnai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kispest HFC and the WHITE SHARK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Barnabás Szalay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tivadar Szőnyi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tamás Dénes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. György Bodó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Péter Grósz, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. György Bodó made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Péter Grósz sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute, WHITE SHARK's Barnabás Szalay ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind György Bodó. György Bodó yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. If Barnabás Szalay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kispest HFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Barnabás Szalay scored to the left of an out of position György Bodó, making the score, 2-2. Kispest HFC's György Bodó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnabás Szalay in the 78th minute of play. Kispest HFC's Renátó Gál got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kispest HFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Emánuel Keresztesi scored to the left of an out of position György Bodó, making the score, 2-3. In the 87th minute Tamás Dénes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tivadar Szőnyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Péter Grósz might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over György Bodó. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Péter Grósz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kispest HFC's goalkeeper György Bodó, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. WHITE SHARK played a much better game than Kispest HFC and deserved their victory. The Kispest HFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
