A hard shot 5 in the game by László Mátrai from a close distance when the talented György Bodó managed to make a qualified save. Kispest HFC's players were relieved. After 10 minutes, Endre Veress mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kispest HFC and the Szamosújlak players grew even worse after the yellow card. Endre Veress kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. László Mátrai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. György Bodó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. László Mátrai who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of György Bodó when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Béla Kis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. György Bodó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes, Szamosújlak's Lajos Kenesei shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper György Bodó came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Szamosújlak reached it. After having played for 22 minutes, Renátó Gál managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kispest HFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renátó Gál was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. László Mátrai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. György Bodó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Béla Kis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of György Bodó, passed just outside the right post. Viktor Tandori hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Béla Kis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tamás Dénes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álmos Kiss having to interfere. Renátó Gál sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. László Mátrai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but György Bodó made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tamás Radnai during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kispest HFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Tamás Radnai hit a great ball. György Bodó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Béla Kis in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Kispest HFC's goal looked a bit too open when Béla Kis came free, but György Bodó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Béla Kis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Béla Kis was the one to do the kick off. Ádám Segesváry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. György Bodó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Béla Kis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but György Bodó read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. If László Mátrai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. László Mátrai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Szamosújlak's László Mátrai got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Szamosújlak getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ádám Szűrös hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kispest HFC's zone, Béla Kis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. György Bodó came out of the goal and Béla Kis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Béla Kis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of György Bodó. Kispest HFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Béla Kis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Szamosújlak fully deserved thier win.
