The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elek Veres during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. János Csorba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Kazimierz Harasimowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruce Lee scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kazimierz Harasimowicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zagyvarékas KLK's János Csorba managed to work through Corleone Fc.'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. János Csorba dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a defensive mix-up in Corleone Fc.'s zone, Csaba Tolnai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kazimierz Harasimowicz came out of the goal and Csaba Tolnai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Pál Andrássy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. János Csorba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Mattias Svahn made a precise shot to the right of Zakariás Majer. Zagyvarékas KLK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Kazimierz Harasimowicz stood somewhat misplaced when János Csorba came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 28 minute. Zakariás Majer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márton Csontos, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when János Csorba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers János Csorba in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kazimierz Harasimowicz saved Corleone Fc. from getting behind. János Csorba might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kazimierz Harasimowicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. János Csorba ran back to his position shaking his head. Kazimierz Harasimowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Imre Újfalussy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Zagyvarékas KLK booed when Corleone Fc. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Botond Szőnyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Imre Újfalussy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazimierz Harasimowicz having to interfere. The audience was convinced that János Csorba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kazimierz Harasimowicz was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. When Zagyvarékas KLK's János Csorba in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. For all the effort they put into the match, the Corleone Fc. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zagyvarékas KLK.
