The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kristóf Horváth during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th play minute András Berkes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Márió Szőnyi. 1-0. Ugod's attentive Gábor Hegyi managed to snatch the ball when Mihály Budai made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. In the 42nd minute, András Berkes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miklós Bánhegyi was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Hunters FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Miklós Szuper hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Ugod's goal looked a bit too open when Miklós Szuper came free, but Márió Szőnyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 played minutes Ugod got a freekick which was hit by Richárd Kiss. The audience was convinced that András Berkes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Márió Szőnyi was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Ugod's zone, András Berkes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Márió Szőnyi came out of the goal and András Berkes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Márió Szőnyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from András Berkes, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute András Berkes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márió Szőnyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
