Endre Kereki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zsolt Szőnyi in the 9th minute of the match. Endre Kereki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Csongor Bacsó, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norbert Tar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Kornél Sarkady made a huge save. After 14 played minutes Mikrosa FC got a freekick which was hit by Zakariás Rózsa. After 15 played minutes, Astra's Benjámin Cselényi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Endre Kereki came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Astra reached it. Endre Kereki came out of the goal and Benjámin Cselényi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norbert Tar had several of the Astra's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Kornél Sarkady as he didn't even see the shot coming. Kornél Sarkady showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sándor Havasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The supporters of Mikrosa FC booed when Astra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rajmund Irmai didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Rajmund Irmai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Endre Kereki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 46th minute Károly Király shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Endre Kereki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zsigmond Matolcsy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Kornél Sarkady made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Tar in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Astra's Csongor Bacsó got a free kick in the 95th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Astra's zone, Norbert Tar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kornél Sarkady came out of the goal and Norbert Tar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mikrosa FC had won after a very even match.
