The audience thought a goal was coming when Viktor Gerebics got free with Gergely Bíró in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute of the match, Viktor Gerebics got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gergely Bíró was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ferenc Domonkos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Péter Bíró, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bálint Tandori during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rdth minute of the game Péter Bíró who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nagybánhegyes SK's Ferenc Domonkos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ferenc Domonkos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Illés Csernyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Péter Bíró to strike the kick off in the second half. Nagybánhegyes SK's Ferenc Domonkos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Péter Bíró in the 53rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Péter Bíró's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferenc Domonkos was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Árpád Földes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Ferenc Domonkos made a huge save. Péter Bíró fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferenc Domonkos having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Nagybánhegyes SK's goalkeeper Ferenc Domonkos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Árpád Földes. Péter Bíró recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bálint Tandori hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Péter Bíró received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Nagybánhegyes SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilmos Koncz to maneuver through the defense. Green Dogs FC's Péter Bíró got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Árpád Földes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ferenc Domonkos came out and tried to block the shot, but Árpád Földes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 89th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Ádám Vadas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nagybánhegyes SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Green Dogs FC the free kick. In the 95th minute, one of Nagybánhegyes SK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nagybánhegyes SK. Green Dogs FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
