When Péter Oláh fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vörös Rózsa FC's protests and gave Péter Oláh a yellow card for diving instead. Péter Oláh kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Vörös Rózsa FC's Károly Lisztes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 5th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sándor Csontos but with some difficulty. In the 11th minute, Dömötör Dudics hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gulács FC's József Varsányi in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vörös Rózsa FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 20th match minute, Vörös Rózsa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Péter Oláh to maneuver through the defense. Márton Baráth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lajos Albert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Csaba Virág hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Márton Baráth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from József Varsányi in the 29th minute of the match. Márton Baráth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from József Varsányi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. József Varsányi took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Márton Baráth. Márton Baráth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dömötör Dudics scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sándor Csontos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Vörös Rózsa FC's zone, Vencel Battai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Márton Baráth came out of the goal and Vencel Battai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dömötör Dudics made the kick off in the second half. If Dömötör Dudics had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Márton Baráth made an important save on a dangerous shot by József Varsányi in the 54th minute. After 55 minutes Vörös Rózsa FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jácint Bíró who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Jácint Bíró got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Márton Baráth quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Márton Baráth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from József Varsányi in the 60th minute of the match. József Varsányi struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Márton Baráth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gulács FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers József Varsányi in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Márton Baráth saved Vörös Rózsa FC from getting behind. Despite being the better team, Gulács FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
