Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zsolt Bódi started the match with the kick off. If Kálmán Madaras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lajos Kocsis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kálmán Madaras in the 3rd minute of play. The Újszász fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Újszász's Kálmán Madaras looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Újszász's Aurél Erős got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Zsolt Bódi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lukács Mátrai hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute of the match, Gyula Pulai got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fülöp Sipos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A hard shot by Roland Takács from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Fülöp Sipos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Újszász's Fülöp Sipos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Újszász from getting a goal against them. After 32 played minutes Újszász got a freekick which was hit by Lukács Mátrai. Fülöp Sipos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Roland Takács. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hedrehely VTK's goalkeeper Lajos Kocsis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kornél Havas kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes, Újszász's Róbert Kaszás shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lajos Kocsis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Újszász reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for József Bíró to strike the kick off in the second half. Zsolt Bódi struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Lajos Kocsis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Újszász. Fülöp Sipos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kornél Havas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Zsolt Bódi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lajos Kocsis. That made the score 0-2 in the 73 minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Gyula Sallói cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Lajos Kocsis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hedrehely VTK's Lajos Kocsis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Hedrehely VTK from getting a goal against them. In the 91st match minute, Hedrehely VTK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Demeter to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Lajos Kocsis managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Újszász's Kálmán Madaras fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
