Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 158) The mood of the audience was pleasant when József Bíró made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, József Bíró got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Encs getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Örs Hollósi hit a great ball. Encs's Gáspár Kántor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Takács in the 11th minute of play. When Hedrehely VTK's József Bíró in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Encs's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lajos Fülöp in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lajos Kocsis saved Hedrehely VTK from getting behind. Balázs Lőrinc hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Lajos Fülöp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 28 minutes into the match, Encs's Lajos Fülöp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lajos Kocsis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Béla Gömöri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Lajos Kocsis made a huge save. Gáspár Kántor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gyula Pulai in the 31st minute of the match. Béla Gömöri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Béla Gömöri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lajos Kocsis. Hedrehely VTK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Béla Gömöri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Gyula Pulai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hedrehely VTK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gyula Pulai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gáspár Kántor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lajos Fülöp to strike the kick off in the second half. Gyula Pulai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gáspár Kántor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute József Bíró shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gáspár Kántor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, József Bíró managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hedrehely VTK's supporters rose to their feet, but József Bíró was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gáspár Kántor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Péter Rácz's late challenge caught a Hedrehely VTK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Péter Rácz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hedrehely VTK booed when Encs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Péter Rácz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lajos Kocsis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Béla Gömöri, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 68th minute Lajos Fülöp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lajos Kocsis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Béla Gömöri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gáspár Kántor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from József Bíró in the 78th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Lajos Fülöp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Encs's supporters rose to their feet, but Lajos Fülöp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lajos Kocsis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When József Bíró came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Hedrehely VTK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that József Bíró couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the match, Encs's goal looked a bit too open when Gyula Pulai came free, but Gáspár Kántor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Péter Rácz hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. József Bíró sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 96 minutes, Tibor Nyúl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Encs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tibor Nyúl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Encs fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hedrehely VTK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
