The coaching staff of Hedrehely VTK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Roland Takács had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Roland Takács kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match László Bodrogi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lajos Kocsis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Team Schell fc booed when Hedrehely VTK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gyula Pulai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tibor Kaiser was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Team Schell fc's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 21st match minute, Hedrehely VTK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kornél Havas to maneuver through the defense. When Team Schell fc's Lukács Vincze in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hedrehely VTK's goalkeeper Lajos Kocsis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lajos Kocsis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibor Kaiser in the 33rd minute of the match. István Gere struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Lajos Kocsis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team Schell fc. 39 minutes into the match, Team Schell fc's Tibor Kaiser sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lajos Kocsis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Tibor Kaiser came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Team Schell fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tibor Kaiser couldn't finish the play. Team Schell fc's Bálint Szusza was substituted for Teobald Falk. If István Gere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 54th minute, István Gere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hedrehely VTK's Lajos Kocsis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibor Kaiser in the 59th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, István Gere managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Schell fc's supporters rose to their feet, but István Gere was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lajos Kocsis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Team Schell fc's Géza Rigó got control of the ball when Gyula Pulai tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lajos Kocsis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from István Gere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69thth minute of the game Lukács Vincze who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hedrehely VTK's Lajos Kocsis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 70 played minutes Team Schell fc got a freekick which was hit by Bálint Szusza. Tibor Kaiser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Lajos Kocsis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, István Gere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lukács Vincze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
