Spectators: 7440 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 100) Jakab Újváry started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Csaba Dárdai made in the 6th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Alba Regia FC's Mihály Fülöp. A collision led to Alba Regia FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ákos Soós hit a great ball. Alba Regia FC were furious when József Pálffy was red carded, 9 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The goalkeeper, Sándor Sipos, was totally fooled by Rudabánya's Csaba Dárdai, who 12 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 16th match minute, Alba Regia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ákos Soós to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Rudabánya defense, Ákos Soós kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miklós Menyhért. The Rudabánya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miklós Menyhért should have stopped the shot. Jakab Újváry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Csaba Dárdai kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Alba Regia FC's György Magyar got a free kick in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrián Bartha in the 36th minute of play forced Alba Regia FC's goalkeeper Sándor Sipos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Mihály Fülöp notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Rudabánya's Miklós Menyhért. Miklós Menyhért was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mihály Fülöp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Miklós Menyhért tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudabánya made a substitution. Ignác Lengyel replaced Csaba Dárdai. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vilmos Vass to strike the kick off in the second half. Zakariás Nyilasi kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Vilmos Vass recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alba Regia FC's Vilmos Vass got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute Ede Kardos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sándor Sipos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 minutes, Mihály Fülöp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alba Regia FC and the Rudabánya players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Alba Regia FC got a freekick which was hit by Mihály Fülöp. Miklós Menyhért made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ákos Soós in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Alba Regia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zsolt Józsa came free, but Sándor Sipos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Rudabánya's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Attila Hujber fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Attila Hujber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Miklós Menyhért tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Alba Regia FC got a freekick which was hit by Ákos Soós. In the 96th minute, Roland Erdei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sándor Sipos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Alba Regia FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
