The referee showed Milán Szőlősi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes F.C. Labdabirtoklás got a freekick which was hit by Milán Szőlősi. Balázs Gyurkovics sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márk Tóth in the 30th minute of play forced Going Down's goalkeeper Ferenc Végh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Márk Tóth managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Labdabirtoklás's supporters rose to their feet, but Márk Tóth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferenc Végh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. F.C. Labdabirtoklás's Jónás Döbrögi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attila Páncsics in the 34th minute of play. Attila Páncsics fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jónás Döbrögi having to interfere. Balázs Gyurkovics received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jónás Döbrögi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Balázs Gyurkovics in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jónás Döbrögi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Miklós Benedek came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the F.C. Labdabirtoklás fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miklós Benedek couldn't finish the play. Attila Páncsics fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jónás Döbrögi having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

54 minutes into the match, Going Down's goal looked a bit too open when Márk Tóth came free, but Ferenc Végh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Going Down's zone, Miklós Benedek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferenc Végh came out of the goal and Miklós Benedek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miklós Benedek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ferenc Végh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of F.C. Labdabirtoklás booed when Going Down was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dávid Gelencsér didn't get a good kick on the ball. Balázs Gyurkovics sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Márk Tóth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferenc Végh was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Ferenc Végh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márk Tóth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Going Down's Béla Edelényi got a free kick in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the game, one of Going Down:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Milán Szőlősi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th minute, Balázs Gyurkovics made a precise shot to the right of Jónás Döbrögi. F.C. Labdabirtoklás's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Going Down's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
