Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Attila Páncsics started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Attila Páncsics got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 6thth minute of the game Félix Szűrös who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Going Down's Ferenc Végh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Balázs Gyurkovics came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Going Down fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balázs Gyurkovics couldn't finish the play. Ferenc Végh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Félix Szűrös in the 13th minute of the match. Ferenc Végh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Félix Szűrös's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Félix Szűrös received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Félix Szűrös sped through Going Down's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ferenc Végh. 崔超梁 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ferenc Végh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Félix Szűrös recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Félix Szűrös in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferenc Végh saved Going Down from getting behind. In the 46th minute, Attila Páncsics got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

In the 52nd minute, Balázs Gyurkovics got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 79 minutes of play Going Down's Dávid Gelencsér was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Dávid Gelencsér kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Félix Szűrös had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Arnaldo Mundo came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Manchester City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Mundo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Félix Szűrös in the 86th minute of play forced Going Down's goalkeeper Ferenc Végh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Ferenc Végh managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Manchester City's Félix Szűrös fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ferenc Végh was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from György Szabadi. A collision led to Manchester City getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Félix Szűrös hit a great ball. The supporters of Manchester City booed when Going Down was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lajos Balogh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Félix Szűrös who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Ferenc Végh when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Going Down fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Manchester City were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
