The referee ignored Going Down's protests and gave Béla Edelényi a yellow card for diving instead. If Peter Carlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The Going Down fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferenc Végh should have stopped the shot. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Peter Carlsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Peter Carlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Attila Páncsics had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over ElőreTörő FC 2010 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Going Down throughout the match.
