Csécse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Vass was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling József Bolla in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Soma Bernáth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Csécse booed when Apollon Grimaszol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mátyás Bagi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Apollon Grimaszol's Mátyás Bagi got a free kick in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers József Bolla in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Soma Bernáth saved Apollon Grimaszol from getting behind. Mátyás Bagi kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Attila Saághy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from András Győri went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 45 played minutes Apollon Grimaszol got a freekick which was hit by Mátyás Végvári.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell András Győri to make the kick off.
