A collision led to Rátót SE getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Kornél Lengyel hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Cukicsapat's Sándor Sebestyén got a free kick in the 7th minute. János Sallay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from György Puskás, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Cukicsapat's János Sallay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Szentesi in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by György Puskás in the 15th minute of play forced Cukicsapat's goalkeeper János Sallay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. György Puskás took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised János Sallay. János Sallay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. János Sallay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Szentesi in the 21st minute of play. After 23 minutes Cukicsapat's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kornél Lengyel who took care of the corner kick. In the 25th match minute, Cukicsapat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tamás Magos to maneuver through the defense. Sándor Tóth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but József Görbe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Valentin Nyilasi hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 31 minutes, Norbert Szentesi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rátót SE and the Cukicsapat players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cukicsapat booed when Rátót SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Szentesi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cukicsapat's Sándor Tóth in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rátót SE's goalie prevented a goal. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rátót SE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zoltán Pécsi was slow to take the kick. During this time Cukicsapat's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Cukicsapat's Zoltán Pécsi to fire away a dangerous shot which József Görbe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 34th match minute, Rátót SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ákos Koczka to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute Zoltán Pécsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but József Görbe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ákos Lőrincz in the 37th minute of play forced Rátót SE's goalkeeper József Görbe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rátót SE's József Görbe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoltán Pécsi in the 39th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Cukicsapat's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Szentesi came free, but János Sallay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zoltán Pécsi in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck József Görbe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for György Puskás to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, one of Rátót SE:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rátót SE. The referee gave Cukicsapat a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Zoltán Pécsi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rátót SE's József Görbe. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, György Puskás managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rátót SE's supporters rose to their feet, but György Puskás was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. János Sallay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. János Sallay made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Norbert Szentesi sent off a good shot on target. János Sallay was a little too slow when György Puskás got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 2-3. With a little luck, Cukicsapat's János Sallay got control of the ball when Norbert Szentesi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rátót SE's József Görbe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoltán Pécsi in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to Rátót SE getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Valentin Nyilasi hit a great ball. József Görbe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ákos Lőrincz's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoltán Pécsi in the 92nd minute of play forced Rátót SE's goalkeeper József Görbe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Rátót SE's Miklós Fenyves got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Rátót SE left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cukicsapat.
