Jakab Baranyai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from András Győri in the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to Ecseg getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Bánk Vörös hit a great ball. Soma Bernáth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Csongor Lipták, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute, Mihály Baranyai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Ecseg booed when Apollon Grimaszol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mátyás Végvári didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pál Sass's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Soma Bernáth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Mátyás Bagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakab Baranyai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Csongor Lipták in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Soma Bernáth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Mátyás Bagi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Ecseg's goalkeeper Jakab Baranyai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by András Győri.

Soma Bernáth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pál Sass, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th match minute, Apollon Grimaszol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mátyás Bagi to maneuver through the defense. Ecseg's Mihály Baranyai got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 played minutes Ecseg got a freekick which was hit by Károly Márton. After 95 played minutes, Apollon Grimaszol's Gergely Szegedi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jakab Baranyai came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Apollon Grimaszol reached it. Despite being the better team, Apollon Grimaszol failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
