The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zoltán Páncsics during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Csécse:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rátót SE:s goal. Rátót SE's József Görbe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by József Bolla in the 9th minute of play. When György Puskás fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rátót SE's protests and gave György Puskás a yellow card for diving instead. György Puskás kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Rátót SE got a freekick which was hit by György Puskás. After 26 played minutes Rátót SE got a freekick which was hit by Tamás Vass. György Puskás kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When Tamás Gera fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Csécse's protests and gave Tamás Gera a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rátót SE booed when Csécse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tamás Gera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viktor Seres hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Dániel Keresztes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but József Görbe skillfully saved the ball. Erik Vass might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over József Görbe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erik Vass ran back to his position shaking his head. When Valentin Nyilasi fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rátót SE's protests and gave Valentin Nyilasi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Valentin Nyilasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Rátót SE's goal looked a bit too open when Dániel Keresztes came free, but József Görbe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. József Bolla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without József Görbe having to interfere. In the 44th minute Dávid Berta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but József Görbe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by György Petres in the 45th minute of play forced Rátót SE's goalkeeper József Görbe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when György Puskás stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by György Puskás in the 55th minute of play forced Csécse's goalkeeper Attila Saághy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norbert Szentesi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attila Saághy having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by György Puskás in the 62nd minute of play forced Csécse's goalkeeper Attila Saághy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 played minutes Rátót SE got a freekick which was hit by Kornél Lengyel. Attila Saághy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Szentesi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norbert Szentesi took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Attila Saághy. Attila Saághy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Norbert Szentesi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attila Saághy having to interfere. Attila Saághy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from György Puskás, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When Miklós Fenyves fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rátót SE's protests and gave Miklós Fenyves a yellow card for diving instead. József Görbe made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Erik Vass sent off a good shot on target.
