Ferenc Tisza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elek Horváth in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Szabolcs Tokody hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elek Horváth struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Ferenc Tisza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Csobaj. Elek Horváth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 minutes, András Kerékgyártó mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sárbogárd SE and the Csobaj players grew even worse after the yellow card. András Kerékgyártó hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Lénárd Szőlősi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Árpád Kolompár, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurél Czene charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurél Czene the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Csobaj booed when Sárbogárd SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurél Czene didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignác Kerekes didn't quite understand what happened when in the 40 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 41st minute Elek Horváth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferenc Tisza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Szilárd Veres during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 43 minutes into the game, one of Csobaj:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Árpád Kolompár made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Sárbogárd SE's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Buzánszki came free, but Ferenc Tisza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elek Horváth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferenc Tisza having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 58th minute when Albert Buzánszki elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 62nd minute of the match Róbert Berki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lénárd Szőlősi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ferenc Tisza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Buzánszki in the 68th minute of the match. If Albert Buzánszki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Albert Buzánszki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Csobaj's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Buzánszki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferenc Tisza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elek Horváth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferenc Tisza having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Elek Horváth made a precise shot to the right of Ferenc Tisza. Sárbogárd SE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After 94 minutes, Róbert Berki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sárbogárd SE and the Csobaj players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Sárbogárd SE:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Csobaj:s goal. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Csobaj. Szilárd Veres stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ferenc Tisza. 1-4. Csobaj's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
