Sárbogárd SE's Ferenc Tisza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by György Puskás in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th match minute, Rátót SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miklós Fenyves to maneuver through the defense. György Puskás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferenc Tisza having to interfere. The supporters of Rátót SE booed when Sárbogárd SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. András Kerékgyártó didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Sárbogárd SE getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Aurél Czene hit a great ball. Kornél Lengyel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Sárbogárd SE's Ferenc Tisza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by György Puskás in the 16th minute of play. Norbert Szentesi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Ferenc Tisza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Rátót SE's György Puskás in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Norbert Szentesi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Norbert Szentesi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ferenc Tisza. That made the score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. When Rátót SE's Valentin Nyilasi in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sárbogárd SE's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and György Puskás made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Norbert Szentesi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55thth minute of the game Norbert Szentesi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sárbogárd SE's Ferenc Tisza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ferenc Tisza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of György Puskás's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. After 68 minutes, Szilárd Bernáth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sárbogárd SE and the Rátót SE players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sárbogárd SE's Szilárd Bernáth got a free kick in the 68th minute. György Puskás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. András Kerékgyártó kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute of the match Kornél Lengyel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferenc Tisza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that György Puskás's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferenc Tisza was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. György Puskás might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ferenc Tisza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. György Puskás ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86th minute, Norbert Szentesi made a precise shot to the right of Ferenc Tisza. Sárbogárd SE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. József Görbe acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Róbert Berki. Rátót SE walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
