The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sándor Tóth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjámin Joó having to interfere. After 5 minutes, Sándor Sebestyén mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cukicsapat and the Atom Sport Klub players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cukicsapat getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Sándor Sebestyén hit a great ball. Zoltán Pécsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Lukács Virágh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atom Sport Klub's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukács Virágh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. János Sallay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. János Sallay didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 20th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The Atom Sport Klub fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjámin Joó should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Béla Majoros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cukicsapat's supporters rose to their feet, but Béla Majoros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjámin Joó breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zoltán Pécsi made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Zoltán Pécsi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. János Sallay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jónás Tábori, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Zoltán Pécsi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd match minute, Cukicsapat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mózes Újvári to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Benjámin Joó successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 72 minutes, Béla Majoros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cukicsapat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Béla Majoros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Atom Sport Klub booed when Cukicsapat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Béla Majoros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute of the match Fábián Ónodi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but János Sallay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atom Sport Klub's goalkeeper Benjámin Joó, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zoltán Pécsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cukicsapat getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Sándor Sebestyén hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Csanád Konkoly had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of János Sallay. Cukicsapat's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Csanád Konkoly was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 89th match minute, Atom Sport Klub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukács Virágh to maneuver through the defense. Béla Majoros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjámin Joó having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Atom Sport Klub's zone, Sándor Tóth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjámin Joó came out of the goal and Sándor Tóth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoltán Pécsi in the 97th minute of play forced Atom Sport Klub's goalkeeper Benjámin Joó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Atom Sport Klub fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cukicsapat had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
