The crowd rose to their feet as Zoltán Pécsi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lénárd Szőlősi. That made the score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. János Sallay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gábor Imre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albert Buzánszki took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised János Sallay. This resulted in a 4-1 score and a disappointed Lénárd Szőlősi as he didn't even see the shot coming. 39 minutes into the match, Cukicsapat's goal looked a bit too open when Elek Horváth came free, but János Sallay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 minutes, Béla Majoros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cukicsapat and the Csobaj players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Cukicsapat got a freekick which was hit by Béla Majoros. Gábor Imre helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Csobaj's Gábor Imre got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Zoltán Pécsi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. János Sallay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elek Horváth in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Elek Horváth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. János Sallay came out and tried to block the shot, but Elek Horváth slotted it home off the left post making it 4-5 in the 95th minute. The Csobaj supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Csobaj would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
