Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) B5555 SFC's Ottó Juhász started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Sárbogárd SE booed when B5555 SFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aladár Kocsis didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to B5555 SFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Aladár Kocsis hit a great ball. Sárbogárd SE's Ferenc Tisza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ottó Juhász in the 22nd minute of play. Szabolcs Tokody hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Ottó Juhász managed to get in a good position for a shot. B5555 SFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ottó Juhász was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferenc Tisza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute, Bálint Tóth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. B5555 SFC's Renátó Kormos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save B5555 SFC from getting a goal against them. Ottó Juhász recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kálmán Zolnai in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferenc Tisza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had been going on for 42 minutes, Sárbogárd SE's Aurél Czene got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Renátó Kormos. Bálint Tóth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ferenc Tisza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Árpád Kolompár was the one to do the kick off. When Kálmán Zolnai fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored B5555 SFC's protests and gave Kálmán Zolnai a yellow card for diving instead. Árpád Kolompár scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Renátó Kormos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Sárbogárd SE's zone, Bálint Tóth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferenc Tisza came out of the goal and Bálint Tóth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 55 played minutes Sárbogárd SE got a freekick which was hit by András Kerékgyártó. Renátó Kormos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Árpád Kolompár, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, B5555 SFC's Kálmán Zolnai ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ferenc Tisza. Ferenc Tisza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kálmán Zolnai got free with Ferenc Tisza in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the match, Sárbogárd SE's goalkeeper Ferenc Tisza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zénó Kertész. Kálmán Zolnai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferenc Tisza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. If Kálmán Zolnai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zoltán Major fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferenc Tisza having to interfere. Kálmán Zolnai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferenc Tisza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zénó Kertész, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Ferenc Tisza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zénó Kertész, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kálmán Zolnai came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the B5555 SFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kálmán Zolnai couldn't finish the play. Bálint Tóth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferenc Tisza having to interfere. B5555 SFC's Bálint Tóth got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kálmán Zolnai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ferenc Tisza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sárbogárd SE's zone, Bálint Tóth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferenc Tisza came out of the goal and Bálint Tóth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Bálint Tóth took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Ferenc Tisza to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the B5555 SFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
