Szõd's Attila Vásárhelyi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Szõd from getting a goal against them. If Kázmér Virágh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Imre Mesterházy in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Attila Vásárhelyi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Vatta booed when Szõd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bálint Kurucz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 minutes Szõd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Csaba Kárpáthy who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Vatta's Zoltán Pataky getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Patrik Vass kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Vatta got a freekick which was hit by Lajos Pénzes. Domonkos Fülep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Berkes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domonkos Fülep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miklós Konkoly in the 23rd minute of the match. When Pál Zornánszky fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szõd's protests and gave Pál Zornánszky a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Kázmér Virágh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Attila Vásárhelyi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience was convinced that Norbert Berkes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domonkos Fülep was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Vatta's Szabolcs Gyarmati got a free kick in the 41st minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kázmér Virágh in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Attila Vásárhelyi saved Szõd from getting behind. In the 56th minute, Szabolcs Gyarmati hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norbert Berkes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domonkos Fülep read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Domonkos Fülep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Berkes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kázmér Virágh couldn't finish the play. After 78 minutes, Bálint Kurucz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szõd and the Vatta players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 played minutes Szõd got a freekick which was hit by Bálint Kurucz. Imre Mesterházy kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Attila Vásárhelyi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kázmér Virágh went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Miklós Konkoly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domonkos Fülep having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miklós Konkoly got free with Domonkos Fülep in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kázmér Virágh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attila Vásárhelyi having to interfere.
