Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Krisztián Puskás started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Földeák United's Dániel Jászberényi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dániel Jászberényi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Földeák United protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dániel Jászberényi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Dániel Jászberényi hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Földeák United's Hugó Pápai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Csaba Kárpáthy in the 4th minute of play. Antal Pálffy's late challenge caught a Vatta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antal Pálffy helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vatta booed when Földeák United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antal Pálffy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Balázs Selymes might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domonkos Fülep. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Balázs Selymes ran back to his position shaking his head. Szabolcs Gyarmati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Hugó Pápai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vatta's Kázmér Virágh got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zoltán Pataky charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zoltán Pataky the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zoltán Pataky hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Földeák United's Balázs Selymes got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Imre Mesterházy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugó Pápai was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Vatta's Csaba Kárpáthy got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 41st minute Krisztián Puskás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domonkos Fülep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugó Pápai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kázmér Virágh, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kázmér Virágh made a kick off. Hugó Pápai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kázmér Virágh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Imre Mesterházy struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Hugó Pápai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vatta. In the 57th match minute, Vatta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kázmér Virágh to maneuver through the defense. Imre Mesterházy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Földeák United's goalkeeper Hugó Pápai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Krisztián Puskás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domonkos Fülep having to interfere. Vatta's Domonkos Fülep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Udvarhelyi in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brúnó Fenyves in the 81st minute of play forced Vatta's goalkeeper Domonkos Fülep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norbert Udvarhelyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Vatta's zone, Antal Pálffy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domonkos Fülep came out of the goal and Antal Pálffy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domonkos Fülep made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krisztián Puskás in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Lajos Pénzes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vatta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Földeák United the free kick. Lajos Pénzes kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Földeák United players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
