Szõd's Attila Vásárhelyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szabolcs Selymes in the 21st minute of play. After 24 minutes, Patrik Vass mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szõd and the Cserkút players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cserkút's Tamás Szeszák was substituted for Márk Vas. The supporters of Cserkút booed when Szõd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. When Brúnó Láng came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Cserkút fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brúnó Láng couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, Szabolcs Selymes made a precise shot to the right of Attila Vásárhelyi. Szõd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brúnó Láng in the 40th minute of play forced Szõd's goalkeeper Attila Vásárhelyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes Szõd got a freekick which was hit by Miklós Konkoly.

Bálint Kurucz charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bálint Kurucz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Szõd getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Bálint Kurucz hit a great ball. After 82 minutes Szõd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dávid Kiss who took care of the corner kick. Attila Vásárhelyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szabolcs Selymes in the 86th minute of the match. Tamás Szeszák who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Attila Vásárhelyi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tamás Szeszák in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Attila Vásárhelyi saved Szõd from getting behind. In the 90th minute Szabolcs Selymes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attila Vásárhelyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dávid Kiss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Attila Vásárhelyi managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Cserkút's Brúnó Láng fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tamás Szeszák in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Attila Vásárhelyi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Szõd fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cserkút were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
