József Kovács struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Attila Vásárhelyi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Földeák United. Norbert Udvarhelyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attila Vásárhelyi having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bálint Kurucz got free with Hugó Pápai in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Földeák United booed when Szõd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Markos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Szõd's Attila Vásárhelyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krisztián Puskás in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Krisztián Puskás had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Attila Vásárhelyi. Szõd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Krisztián Puskás was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The audience was convinced that Krisztián Puskás's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Attila Vásárhelyi was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Szõd defense, Brúnó Fenyves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Attila Vásárhelyi. The Szõd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Attila Vásárhelyi should have stopped the shot. Attila Vásárhelyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from József Kovács, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Szõd's zone, Krisztián Puskás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Attila Vásárhelyi came out of the goal and Krisztián Puskás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Attila Vásárhelyi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from József Kovács went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Norbert Berkes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Norbert Udvarhelyi came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Földeák United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norbert Udvarhelyi couldn't finish the play. Krisztián Puskás succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. Norbert Udvarhelyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Attila Vásárhelyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bálint Kurucz kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Krisztián Puskás made a kick off. In the 56th minute József Kovács shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attila Vásárhelyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A beautiful save bye Szõd's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Szõd getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Tamás Irmai hit a great ball. Krisztián Puskás might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Attila Vásárhelyi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Krisztián Puskás ran back to his position shaking his head. After 67 minutes of play, Földeák United's Norbert Udvarhelyi made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Attila Vásárhelyi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 71st minute, Krisztián Puskás got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Krisztián Puskás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute Miklós Konkoly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugó Pápai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Krisztián Puskás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Krisztián Puskás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attila Vásárhelyi having to interfere. Hugó Pápai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miklós Konkoly in the 90th minute of play.
