After a rather tough play, Nagypeterd's Egon Faragó got a free kick in the 5th minute. The supporters of Nagypeterd booed when Pilisi Rettenetes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Béla Détári didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pilisi Rettenetes's Zsolt Pálinkás in 10 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ödön Ferenc guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 18 minutes into the match, Endre Sólyom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ákos Szigeti. Pilisi Rettenetes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Endre Sólyom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Nagypeterd's zone, Zsolt Pálinkás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ödön Ferenc came out of the goal and Zsolt Pálinkás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, László Szepesvári hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ödön Ferenc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zsolt Pálinkás in the 26th minute of play. Zsolt Pálinkás took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ödön Ferenc. Ödön Ferenc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some careless play in the Pilisi Rettenetes defense, Endre Sólyom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ákos Szigeti. The Pilisi Rettenetes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ákos Szigeti should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Pilisi Rettenetes's Zsolt Pálinkás got a free kick in the 34th minute. Ákos Szigeti acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Krisztián Irmai. Pilisi Rettenetes's Ákos Szigeti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Pilisi Rettenetes from getting a goal against them. Dávid Petres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ödön Ferenc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zsolt Pálinkás in the 40th minute of play. Ödön Ferenc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zsolt Pálinkás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zsolt Pálinkás made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Nagypeterd's zone, Dávid Petres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ödön Ferenc came out of the goal and Dávid Petres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ödön Ferenc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dávid Petres went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 57th minute of the match, Zsolt Pálinkás tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ödön Ferenc saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ödön Ferenc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zsolt Pálinkás in the 61st minute of the match. Ákos Szigeti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferdinánd Gyárfás went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Dávid Petres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ödön Ferenc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zsolt Pálinkás in the 72nd minute of play. Zsolt Pálinkás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ödön Ferenc having to interfere. Ödön Ferenc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dávid Petres in the 76th minute. Ákos Szigeti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lénárd Mogyorós in the 78th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Krisztián Irmai during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Nagypeterd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krisztián Irmai to maneuver through the defense. When Zsolt Pálinkás came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Pilisi Rettenetes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zsolt Pálinkás couldn't finish the play. Egon Faragó's late challenge caught a Pilisi Rettenetes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egon Faragó helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Nagypeterd:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pilisi Rettenetes:s goal. István Bolla kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Egon Faragó took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ákos Szigeti. Pilisi Rettenetes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When László Győrfi fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pilisi Rettenetes's protests and gave László Győrfi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute of the match Egon Faragó shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ákos Szigeti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dávid Petres struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ödön Ferenc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pilisi Rettenetes. If Zsolt Pálinkás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Nagypeterd could leave the field as winners, despite Pilisi Rettenetes having more of the ball for most of the match.
