Seating: 1871, VIP seats: 161) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Balázs Barta made the kick off which started today's match. Krisztián Józsa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Balázs Barta's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. A collision led to Lurkó UFC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Vince Kocsis hit a great ball. Balázs Barta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krisztián Józsa having to interfere. Gellénháza's Szilveszter Győri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ádám Vályogos in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Ádám Vályogos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Szilveszter Győri. Gellénháza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ádám Vályogos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Lurkó UFC's Krisztián Józsa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zsolt Győrffy in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Ádám Vályogos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Szilveszter Győri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Lurkó UFC booed when Gellénháza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dömötör Tinódi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zsolt Győrffy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Balázs Barta had several of the Lurkó UFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 45 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Krisztián Józsa as he didn't even see the shot coming. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The wind increased when Ádám Vályogos made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Lurkó UFC's Roland Szentesi got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 53 minutes of play, Gellénháza's Balázs Barta made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Krisztián Józsa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albert Virág kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to Gellénháza getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gedeon Czakó hit a great ball. After 79 played minutes Lurkó UFC got a freekick which was hit by Ádám Vályogos. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lurkó UFC's goalkeeper Krisztián Józsa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Szilveszter Győri managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Lurkó UFC's Attila Sinkovits fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gellénháza! Szilveszter Győri had in the 88thth minute some difficulties stopping Károly Czibor's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when Lurkó UFC's Károly Czibor after 88 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Gellénháza's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-3. If Attila Sinkovits had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ádám Vályogos fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lurkó UFC's protests and gave Ádám Vályogos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Lurkó UFC's Ádám Vályogos got a free kick in the 94th minute. Zsolt Győrffy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Gellénháza supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lurkó UFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Lurkó UFC.
