But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ádám Zombori couldn't finish the play. Kázmér Vörös sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Györgytarló's Ádám Zombori got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bertalan Szatmári had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kázmér Balázs's late challenge caught a Györgytarló's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kázmér Balázs helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, Zalaegerszegi Dózsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kázmér Balázs to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Ádám Zombori got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valentin Sallói was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ádám Zombori showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. In the 29th minute, Csongor Szakál got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Kázmér Vörös could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Valentin Sallói however easily saved by the left post. If Ádám Zombori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Sallói took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ádám Zombori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kázmér Vörös could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Valentin Sallói made a huge save.

A collision led to Zalaegerszegi Dózsa getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Károly Szűcs hit a great ball. Kázmér Vörös received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Valentin Sallói tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kázmér Vörös blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valentin Sallói having to make a save. 64 minutes into the game, Tihamér Gáspár was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Györgytarló's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zalaegerszegi Dózsa the free kick. After 64 played minutes Györgytarló got a freekick which was hit by Tihamér Gáspár. Zalaegerszegi Dózsa's Valentin Sallói played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kázmér Vörös in the 70th minute of play. Ádám Zombori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 minutes of play Zalaegerszegi Dózsa's Kázmér Balázs was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 79 played minutes Zalaegerszegi Dózsa got a freekick which was hit by Kázmér Balázs. In the 89th minute Ádám Zombori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Sallói saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ádám Zombori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Sallói having to interfere. Valentin Sallói tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Györgytarló had played much better football throughout.
