The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Balázs Hollósi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zsivány FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Balázs Hollósi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Vendel Détári when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Zsivány FC's Balázs Hollósi in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boldog FC's goalie prevented a goal. Sándor Varga's late challenge caught a Zsivány FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sándor Varga helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, Boldog FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sándor Varga to maneuver through the defense. Balázs Hollósi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Zsivány FC booed when Boldog FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sándor Varga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vendel Détári made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Balázs Hollósi sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Vendel Détári managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Zsivány FC's Balázs Hollósi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Balázs Hollósi in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vendel Détári, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Balázs Hollósi in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vendel Détári saved Boldog FC from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, Arnold Kováts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boldog FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 53rd minute of the match Zsivány FC got a corner. Boldog FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Attila Péter ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Ödön Borsó came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Zsivány FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ödön Borsó couldn't finish the play. After 60 minutes, Balázs Hollósi made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Boldog FC's Vendel Détári tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 65th play minutes Balázs Hollósi shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Vendel Détári and just under the crossbar into goal. Zsivány FC's Attila Péter got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vendel Détári came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Zsivány FC's Balázs Hollósi. But to his dismay, Balázs Hollósi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After having played for 72 minutes, Roland Bencik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zsivány FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Bencik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Boldog FC's goal looked a bit too open when Balázs Hollósi came free, but Vendel Détári reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vendel Détári stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Balázs Hollósi's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. After 93 played minutes Boldog FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnold Kováts.
