Spectators: 8079 (Terracing: 6061, Seating: 1858, VIP seats: 160) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Csongor Szakál got the match started through his kick off. Gellénháza's Zsolt Győrffy got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Balázs Barta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valentin Sallói was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 11th minute, Zsolt Győrffy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gellénháza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a little luck, Gellénháza's Szilveszter Győri got control of the ball when Bertalan Szatmári tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Zalaegerszegi Dózsa's goal looked a bit too open when Balázs Barta came free, but Valentin Sallói reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Gellénháza's Szilveszter Győri got control of the ball when Bertalan Szatmári tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnold Szusza charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnold Szusza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arnold Szusza hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Balázs Barta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Kenesei took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Sallói. Valentin Sallói dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Szilveszter Győri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Csongor Szakál, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Zalaegerszegi Dózsa's zone, Zsolt Győrffy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Sallói came out of the goal and Zsolt Győrffy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 40 minutes of play, Gellénháza's Balázs Barta made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Sallói was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valentin Sallói showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balázs Barta, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Kázmér Balázs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Valentin Sallói made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Zsolt Győrffy sent off a good shot on target. If Balázs Barta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Sallói came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Gellénháza's Zsolt Győrffy. But to his dismay, Zsolt Győrffy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 60th minute, Zsolt Győrffy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentin Sallói was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Arnold Szusza was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 64th match minute, Gellénháza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnold Szusza to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Gellénháza's zone, Csongor Szakál stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Szilveszter Győri came out of the goal and Csongor Szakál tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zsolt Győrffy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Zalaegerszegi Dózsa getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ádám Cselényi hit a great ball. If Zsolt Győrffy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Zalaegerszegi Dózsa's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Kenesei came free, but Valentin Sallói reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Kenesei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Valentin Sallói tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Richárd Pucheli fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zalaegerszegi Dózsa's protests and gave Richárd Pucheli a yellow card for diving instead. Richárd Pucheli hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Szilveszter Győri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertalan Szatmári, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Szilveszter Győri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Csongor Szakál in the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Kázmér Balázs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Gellénháza could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zalaegerszegi Dózsa throughout the match.
