Andor Újfalussy hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Rajmund Bíró took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tihamér Gáspár, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rajmund Bíró made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ádám Zombori in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Ádám Zombori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rajmund Bíró saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Andor Újfalussy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marci Stars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Györgytarló the free kick. A collision led to Marci Stars getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Andor Újfalussy hit a great ball. The supporters of Marci Stars booed when Györgytarló was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richárd Kővári didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tihamér Gáspár in the 20th minute of play forced Marci Stars's goalkeeper Rajmund Bíró to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lajos Lőrinc lost his temper 21 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Marci Stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kázmér Vörös was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Marci Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andor Újfalussy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute Ádám Zombori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rajmund Bíró saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Marci Stars defense, Ákos Sinkó kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rajmund Bíró. The Marci Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rajmund Bíró should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Györgytarló players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
