In the 2nd minute, Gellénháza's Balázs Barta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 8th minute, Balázs Barta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rajmund Bíró. The goal made the score 2-0. Endre Toldi got a throw-in 12 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Balázs Barta. If Kornél Kovács had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rajmund Bíró didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Balázs Barta went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Zsolt Győrffy came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rajmund Bíró could save by the left post. Rajmund Bíró made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balázs Barta in the 28th minute of play. Rajmund Bíró made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zsolt Győrffy in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Balázs Barta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rajmund Bíró. Balázs Barta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. In the 35th minute of the match, Balázs Barta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rajmund Bíró saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Gellénháza's Dömötör Tinódi got a free kick in the 39th minute. With a little luck, Marci Stars's Rajmund Bíró got control of the ball when Arnold Szusza tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The wind increased when Balázs Barta made the kick off in the second half. If Andor Újfalussy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balázs Barta scored 7-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rajmund Bíró, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Balázs Barta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rajmund Bíró. Marci Stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Balázs Barta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. 69 minutes into the match, Marci Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Arnold Szusza came free, but Rajmund Bíró reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rajmund Bíró took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balázs Barta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the game, Gellénháza's Arnold Szusza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rajmund Bíró made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Kornél Kovács's late challenge caught a Gellénháza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kornél Kovács helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th minute, Kornél Kovács hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute Balázs Barta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rajmund Bíró saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Endre Toldi in the 88th minute of play forced Marci Stars's goalkeeper Rajmund Bíró to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rajmund Bíró showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balázs Barta, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gellénháza fully deserved thier win.
