Spectators: 8007 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) Mózes Segesváry made the kick off and thus started the match. 8 minutes into the game, Kálmán Makai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JVSC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gomba SK the free kick. A collision led to JVSC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Kálmán Makai hit a great ball. In the 11th minute Endre Barabás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but László Baróti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fábián Csongrádi came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Gomba SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fábián Csongrádi couldn't finish the play. Fábián Csongrádi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without László Baróti having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roland Madarász to make the kick off. The supporters of Gomba SK booed when JVSC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Endre Szénási didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 54 minutes on the clock, Mátyás Nagy commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in JVSC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Ervin Petres walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 59 minutes into the match, JVSC's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Madarász came free, but László Baróti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in JVSC's zone, Fábián Csongrádi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. László Baróti came out of the goal and Fábián Csongrádi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fábián Csongrádi in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg László Baróti saved JVSC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, JVSC's Pál Pénzes got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute of the match Ervin Petres sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but László Baróti skillfully saved the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Fábián Csongrádi notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of JVSC's László Baróti. László Baróti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Gomba SK's zone, Kálmán Makai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kálmán Virágh came out of the goal and Kálmán Makai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bálint Nagy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roland Madarász fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without László Baróti having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Fábián Csongrádi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. László Baróti was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Kálmán Virágh came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by JVSC's Bálint Nagy. But to his dismay, Bálint Nagy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After a rather tough play, Gomba SK's Roland Madarász got a free kick in the 91st minute. Roland Madarász fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without László Baróti having to interfere. Roland Madarász blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without László Baróti having to make a save. Gomba SK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
