After a defensive mix-up in Pest Brawlers's zone, Roland Nemes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukács Hidegkúti came out of the goal and Roland Nemes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lukács Hidegkúti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Károly Selymes, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Pest Brawlers's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Nemes came free, but Lukács Hidegkúti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona HU's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Virág came free, but Jakab Katona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, János Boross managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Barcelona HU's supporters crossed their fingers, but János Boross was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Károly Selymes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukács Hidegkúti having to interfere. FC Barcelona HU were furious when Norbert Sámuel was red carded, 34 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 35 played minutes FC Barcelona HU got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Sámuel. In the 38th minute, Károly Selymes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tibor Virág was the one to do the kick off. When Lajos Sebestyén came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the FC Barcelona HU fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lajos Sebestyén couldn't finish the play. Károly Selymes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roland Nemes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Lukács Hidegkúti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roland Nemes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emil Holzhauser hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gyula Kis in the 78th minute of play forced Pest Brawlers's goalkeeper Lukács Hidegkúti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Pest Brawlers's Botond Weszely got a free kick in the 79th minute. László Budai charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed László Budai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
