The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Pest Brawlers's goal looked a bit too open when Levente Cziránku came free, but Lukács Hidegkúti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pest Brawlers booed when Molvány 24 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Félix Kollár didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pest Brawlers's Lukács Hidegkúti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by György Véber in the 12th minute of play. Molvány 24's Bálint Battai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Molvány 24 from getting a goal against them. Lukács Hidegkúti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from János Nagy, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Molvány 24's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Virág came free, but Bálint Battai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Félix Kollár managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Molvány 24's supporters crossed their fingers, but Félix Kollár was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bálint Battai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szilárd Sebők in the 41st minute of play. Szilárd Szentesi might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lukács Hidegkúti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Szilárd Szentesi ran back to his position shaking his head. Lukács Hidegkúti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from György Véber, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Molvány 24's Félix Kollár got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and György Véber made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domonkos Benedek in the 72nd minute of play forced Molvány 24's goalkeeper Bálint Battai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Félix Kollár charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Félix Kollár the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gábor Mészáros struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Bálint Battai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pest Brawlers. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Gergely in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bálint Battai saved Molvány 24 from getting behind. After 95 minutes, Domonkos Benedek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pest Brawlers and the Molvány 24 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 95 played minutes Pest Brawlers got a freekick which was hit by Domonkos Benedek. Molvány 24's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
