Matthías Chauvet helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hetes FC's goalkeeper Frigyes Józsa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frigyes Józsa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from László Pápai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vasas FC's László Pápai got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Hetes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Szilárd Szegedi came free, but Frigyes Józsa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hetes FC were furious when Norbert Kerekes was red carded, 30 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Hetes FC's Frigyes Józsa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by László Pápai in the 39th minute of play. If Szilárd Szegedi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute László Pápai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frigyes Józsa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Szilárd Szegedi made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Lino Tróia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hetes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.
