Spectators: 6981 (Terracing: 5979, Seating: 1001, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gusztáv Ballai took the kick off in the first half of the match. Róbert Szabados charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Róbert Szabados the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Galatasaray FC booed when Algyő was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbert Szabados didn't get a good kick on the ball. When András Benczur fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Algyő's protests and gave András Benczur a yellow card for diving instead. Alfonz Dénes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ádám Szigligeti. Algyő's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ádám Császár blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pál Berkes having to make a save. 9 minutes into the match, Galatasaray FC's goalkeeper Pál Berkes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ádám Császár. Örs Márton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ádám Szigligeti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gusztáv Ballai in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Ádám Császár made a precise shot to the right of Pál Berkes. Galatasaray FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Algyő's Ádám Szigligeti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gusztáv Ballai in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantin Salgó in the 31st minute of play forced Algyő's goalkeeper Ádám Szigligeti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Algyő's Ádám Császár ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pál Berkes. Pál Berkes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Pál Berkes came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Algyő's Ádám Császár. But to his dismay, Ádám Császár quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Pál Berkes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ádám Császár, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ádám Császár made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Ádám Császár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pál Berkes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 52 played minutes Algyő got a freekick which was hit by Ottó Vándor. Galatasaray FC's Pál Zsinka shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 54th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ádám Szigligeti but with some difficulty. Pál Berkes came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Algyő's Ádám Császár. But to his dismay, Ádám Császár quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Krisztián Juhász's late challenge caught a Algyő's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Krisztián Juhász helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Krisztián Juhász hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 minutes of play, Algyő's Ádám Császár made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pál Berkes was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Galatasaray FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gusztáv Ballai hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Galatasaray FC's Gusztáv Ballai slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ádám Szigligeti. That made the score 5-2 after 86 minutes of play. With a little luck, Algyő's Ádám Szigligeti got control of the ball when Konstantin Salgó tried to sneak it across the goal line. Róbert Szabados received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Pál Berkes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ádám Szigligeti was a little too slow when Gusztáv Ballai got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 5-3. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Algyő had won after a very even match.
