The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Károly Murai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tamás Görög having to interfere. Emánuel Illés scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tamás Görög, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 11 minutes into the game, Kõröstetétlen SK's Tibor Kárpáthy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tamás Görög made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 13th match minute, Rácz Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tamás Zolnai to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Rácz Fc booed when Kõröstetétlen SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zsolt Csáki didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emánuel Illés in the 40th minute of play forced Rácz Fc's goalkeeper Tamás Görög to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Bálint Molnár managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rácz Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bálint Molnár was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Kõröstetétlen SK booed when Rácz Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bálint Molnár didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Bálint Hujber didn't quite understand what happened when in the 49 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After 55 minutes, Bálint Molnár mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rácz Fc and the Kõröstetétlen SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Kõröstetétlen SK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kõröstetétlen SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
