After 60 minutes, Boldizsár Császár mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vasas FC and the Labdarúgó Akadémia VLC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Vasas FC's zone, Emil Pető stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Máté Földi came out of the goal and Emil Pető tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Szilárd Szegedi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norbert Antal having to interfere. Norbert Antal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szilárd Szegedi in the 82nd minute of play. If Emil Pető had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, László Pápai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vasas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but László Pápai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norbert Antal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Labdarúgó Akadémia VLC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
