András Salamon might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over László Rácz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. András Salamon ran back to his position shaking his head. László Rácz made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when András Salamon sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes into the match, LUXEMBOURG's goalkeeper László Rácz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by András Salamon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dániel Boda in the 23rd minute of play forced Mean Machine's goalkeeper Attila Tábori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the LUXEMBOURG defense, András Salamon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of László Rácz. The LUXEMBOURG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that László Rácz should have stopped the shot. László Rácz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Béla Váczi in the 37th minute of play. András Salamon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Mean Machine booed when LUXEMBOURG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ádám Nagy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47thth minute of the game Béla Váczi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LUXEMBOURG's László Rácz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Béla Váczi to strike the kick off in the second half. Kálmán Vásárhelyi charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kálmán Vásárhelyi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to LUXEMBOURG getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. After a defensive mix-up in LUXEMBOURG's zone, András Salamon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. László Rácz came out of the goal and András Salamon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurél Fazekas charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurél Fazekas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mean Machine's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
